I think this, other than the radio singles, was the first Radiohead song I totally fell in love with. My roommate in college freshman year was slightly obsessed with the band so I was inundated with it all right away. Before then I had just enjoyed their songs on the radio but wasn't that big into buying new things. And honestly, I got annoyed with them because I heard them so much that year. I think it is because it wasn't MY choice to have them on. Anyway...the next year I had a radio show and started putting on some Radiohead tracks and would ask my roommate for suggestions. She suggested this one a lot and for good reason. It's an awesome song!

Starts off quietly and quickly builds up into the introduction of Thom Yorke's voice. This is such a great song, both friendly to a new listener but also complex and solid for the old fan. I never tire of this one. It's also intense, it's "killing" him and you can totally feel that in the song.

I get home from work and you're still standing in your dressing gown
Well what am I to do?
I know all the things around your head and what they do to you
What are we coming to?
What are we gonna do?

Blame it on the black star
Blame it on the falling sky
Blame it on the satellite that beams me home

The troubled words of a troubled mind I try to understand what is eating you
I try to stay awake but its 58 hours since that I last slept with you
What are we coming to?
What are we gonna do?

Blame it on the black star
Blame it on the falling sky
Blame it on the satellite that beams me home

I get on the train and I just stand about now that I don't think of you
I keep falling over I keep passing out when I see a face like you
What am I coming to?
I just donĀ“t know anymore

Blame it on the black star
Blame it on the falling sky
Blame it on the satellite that beams me home
This is killing me
This is killing me
