First of all, Q And Not U have a great band name and it totally fits who they are. Many of their songs are characterized by changing rhthyms and meters along with random inflections of the lyrics. I remember seeing them live and they seemed all over the place. It was hard to focus on much more than the vocals that night but listening to their album brings out the many layers that make up their sound. Q And Not U just recently played their last show (or are about to?) and I kind of regret not seeing them more. Their bass player left the band and I wasn't sure how I would like them then.
