I love N*SYNC, I do. They are fun and retrospectively Justin Timberlake is hott. And if you just listen to his voice and forget that he once had that ridiculous curly hair, he's awesome. This is basically a prelude to his solo album anyway, as he takes control and the other guys are there to add harmonies here and there. Justin Timberlake has the gift of getting that pop angst sound in his voice without it being totally cheesy (and yes, I know many disagree).
Musically, this song could have been released on Justified and assumed to be about Britney. At risk of an oxymoron to some, this is a more mature N*SYNC song that I refuse to believe has no feeling behind it.
Throughout, Justin Timberlake displays his smooth voice and almost 4 minutes in gives the patented N*SYNC vocal solo that brings the song to it's climax and soon after, it's end.
